Individual therapy is tailored to the needs of the client. The therapist and client agree on an approach that best suits the client/therapist. Therapy is engaged in a cooperative friendly atmosphere and the progress of therapy is deternimed by the client.
There are many ‘types’ of interventions that experienced therapists utilise depending on the nature of the presenting problem.
Therapy duration is dependent on the complexity of the problem. Some issues can be resolved within one to six sessions and other problems need more time to get a satisfactory resolution.

Groups provide a structure where there can be dynamic processes including education, group support, group cohesion,testing of assumptions and shared caring.
